My child has never skied or snowboarded. Is that okay? ▾
Absolutely — that's our specialty. Most of our students come in with zero experience. Our programs are specifically designed for first-timers, and our instructors are trained to make that first experience fun and confidence-building.
What should my child wear? ▾
No snow gear needed — our facility is climate-controlled at 65–70°F year-round. Athletic clothes work perfectly. You're welcome to bring your own helmet if you have one.
Is gear included? ▾
Yes — all ski and snowboard gear (skis/snowboard, boots, poles, helmet) is included and professionally fitted at every session. There's nothing extra to buy or bring.
What's Shredder's refund and credit policy? ▾
Refund and credit options vary by program, timing, and enrollment type. For full-session classes: a refund may be available if you withdraw before the 3rd scheduled class; a Shredder credit may be available for the remaining classes after (missing a single class isn't a withdrawal). Camps & Parent's Night Out: refunds or credits depend on advance-cancellation timing. Private lesson deposits follow the same advance-timing structure. Do you offer private lessons before a ski trip? ▾
Yes — this is one of the most popular ways to use private lessons. Many Wheat Ridge families book a session or series of private lessons before heading to the I-70 ski corridor. Even 2–3 sessions can make a dramatic difference in confidence on the mountain.
What if my child misses a session? ▾

You'll be prompted to add participant details (age, experience, ski or snowboard preference, shoe size) at checkout. This is required before your first session — if we don't receive it in time, we may not be able to accommodate your session. Email us at wheatridge@shredderski.com if you need help.
